Adrien Léauté 3 years ago in Other 0

Hello,

Those ICL437-G//-//-3 are discontinue and hard to found as spare parts even used one.

got an issue on one where the neutral zone do not work (program safety block the engine start due to joystick not in neutral)

could the IR sensor HOA1884-012 (transmissive sensor) be the fault on those type of joystick as it seems they are use to trigger the neutral X and Y postion?

any documentaion available?

CM0504 Current Limit

Greg R 5 years ago in Other 0

Regarding th CM0504 module. What is the time to trip for the 25A current limit? If a motor is powered and spikes above 25A, will cause the module to fault? And will it recover?

I have an issue where the camera drops out when i run an extension ethernet cable between an SV camera and an MD4. My extension cable does meet Ethernet standards for twisted pair. Any suggestions are appreciated with helping to resolve this.

HBC Receiver (XR)

Kraige 5 years ago in Other updated by Gustav Widén (System support) 6 days ago 6

I have come across an old machine that has a HBC Remote Receiver which is connected into an MDL2 system using the XR expansion module. The proportional Inputs from the remote are configured as Voltage In and from the view point of the IQAN system operate from 0 to 5 volts so every time the proportional paddle is moved to full stroke in either direction a system generated error is produced and the input is turned off. Has anyone come across this problem is there a simple solution. The HBC suppliers say that can't change or scale the outputs from the receiver.

Bus Length

Richard Staite 6 years ago in Other updated by techsupport@posi-plus com 6 years ago 4

I have an application that requires a total bus length of approx 150 Mtrs - The Instructioin book referred to in another post says the max length "between nodes" is 100 mtrs - So If I put an additional node to act as a booster - is that ok?

Any suggestion for wireless ICP canbus gateway?

David Dufour 6 years ago in Other 0

Hi everyone,

There is someone who find a product able to communicate wireless between two master module (MC4x and a MD4) ?

I tried few without a good success in the past. They lost communication, the latency is too high and no one was able to do an update of the program.

So, I'm looking for a recommendation if there is any product able to replace a wire for a 200' distance.

Thanks you all!

Supported Radio controls

Antti K 7 years ago in Other updated by Richard Staite 7 years ago 1

Does anyone have experience to use proportional radio controls via ICP/J1939/CANOPEN. I'm interested about vendors which have radios which i can use in my project.

I found that Magnetek radios have ICP protocol available but is there any other vendors.

How IQAN XR radio module is used? Can it communicate directly to some handheld radio or with receiver?

multiple camera input

andyr 7 years ago in Other / SV updated by Gustav Widén (System support) 2 years ago 3

Hi all

I have a new application requiring multiple SV cameras feeding into a MD4 master. I only need to view one or two inputs at any given time, but all four camera feeds need to be available and switchable at any time. I know i will have to use some form of ethernet switch for the multiple feeds into the C4 port of the MD4, but don't know if this needs to be a managed or un-managed switch? Has anyone out there done this sort of thing with the SV cameras, and if so can you help with the app file in the MD4 and recommend a suitable switch?

many thanks

Answer

Hello.

We have done some testing with rugged ethernet switches to see if they work with the MD4 and SV cameras.

They are unmanaged switches so you only connect them and are ready to go.

These two switches were tested with three cameras (only had 3 to test with) and was found to work.

Molex DRL-750Murr

Electronik Art.-No. 58160

Test were also done on 'Moxa TN-5305' and 'Phoenix Contact FL switch 1605 M12'.

These two switches experienced problems when more than one camera were added.

Such as loosing connection to cameras or not finding them at all.
