Resolution of PWM output
Hi!
When monitoring the output of the PWM it shows only values with no decimals although the input is with decimals. I have attached an example. Is it true that the resolution of the PWM output is discrete values?
why PWM instead of COUT?
I am planning to drive a proportional relief valve (AP04G2YR 21C) with a XA2.
Is there any reason to use a PWM output over a COUT?
With COUT, I would think I would have open and short circuit detection (not sure about PWM) and it would take into account the coil heating up over time.
Ground triggered digital input
Is there a way to configure an XA2 expansion module's digital input to accept a ground triggered signal without adding external resistors? I have an application that requires a grounded input instead of a positive voltage.
CAN Communication Distance
What is the maximum distance that the IQAN bus can transmit (in terms of cable length)? I can't find it in the documentation and I have a project that requires a display to be away from a hazardous area.

PWM as control signal
We want to use Spal brush-less fans, these fans have integrated electronics that control the fan speed. the speed can be controlled by a PWM signal mr 0 to 100% frequency 50 to 200Hz.
Is it possible to use the PWM output of the Iqan system to control this?

ENVELOPE LINES ON CAMERA VIEW
Our customer would like to be able to see "envelope lines" on the IQAN camera view....similar to automobile backup cameras. Also, a way to allow a pop up alarm on top of camera view so operator is alerted to look to another page or view for fault.

PWMOUT used with Parker VPL/Pulsar valve
Has anyone had any luck using the bi-directional PWMOUT with the Parker VPL/Pulsar valve proportional coils? I tried using one Bi output for two coils on a 4W/3P proportional valve(each valve section has 2 separate coils, 1 for shifting the valve in each direction) and did not have much luck and had to eventually use one output per coil (used on the positive return side). Was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem or am I missing something? Any help is greatly appreciated.

There vansco series. But we can not use in the iqan design platform. We can not programing multi master it. Canopen keypad and canopen indicator is the future thought?
