VREF error on XC43 Enable
Working on a project in which 2 XC43 modules are not supplied with power until the MD4 commands a safety relay contactor closed.
I've worked through almost all the bugs, but I'm getting a VREF A error as soon as the XC43 modules enable. I've tried leaving up to a 30 second delay after powering the XC43 modules to enable them, but the error still pops up for one cycle and then shows up on screen (Watching in a measure group, VREF starts at 0V for one or so cycles, then goes right to 5V). All the sensors read fine, just have the error at system start.
Is there any way to delay how long it takes for the VREF error to show

On MC43FS I see the LED blinking as followed: 3 Red/2 Yellow. ID Tag is connected properly. How to fix this?

Industrial Style IQAN Module for Electrical Cabinet
We've used IQAN modules extensively in our equipment and we've always mounted the modules in an electrical cabinet. We prefer the entire IQAN system to other PLCs that would normally be used in a cabinet, but we could really benefit from an IQAN module that was more industrial style, i.e. that it would have screw terminals that were easy to rearrange, add, remove, etc.
Has anything like this been considered before? Anyone else with this need?

Reading thermistors on MC43
I am trying to read a NTC thermistor with a resistive output ranging from 810 - 76.9 ohms on the MC43.
In the past we have used a voltage divider circuit to read the sensor value on a VIN channel, but if the MC43 could introduce a bias current to the thermistor then the output voltage could read without the need for a second resistor in the mix.
I did not seeing any mention of this in the MC43 manual but was wondering if anyone has faced this challenge before.
Thank you.

IQAN-MG units product no. 5010001
Could you advise if there is a replacement for the 5010001 ?
I have a defective module on my SMV SC4542 TA5 and I can not find a replcement
could you assist me ?

Touchscreen issues
Most have occurred after several years of operation so not particularly early hour failures, but I would still expect a longer life from a touchscreen (my phone for example gets much more use and abuse).
Just wanted to put this out to see if others are seeing the same issue or if Parker is aware and has made any improvements to the screen over the years?

PWM MR Values
I am trying to control a valve without over speeding the pump. What would the MR values need to be? Does 100% command at a 100% Max MR value equate to the source voltage, in this case 24VDC? See coil characteristics below.

If you have an important function like this you should not use PWM outputs from IQAN, you should use COUT. The PWM outputs from IQAN are not temperature compensated and you will see consistency / repeatability problems. When you use the current output channels with IQAN you will be able to set minimum and maximum current requirements easily and the current will compensate for changes in coil resistance.

Address tags
Hi all.
I'm looking to obtain a set of id tags. I'm only looking to run 5 modules. Is there a way to just buy a set of singe tags0-7 without having to buy box's of 10 of each that I will never use?
Thanks
James

PWM to control small load
Hello,
We are currently working with a MC43, and I had a question regarding the use of PWM out as a control device. I found this post, since it was 4 years old thought I would ask again. We are trying to control a water valve position with one of the PWM out on the MC43, but not getting the expected results.
The datasheet specifies a leakage current of 2mA. What do you recommend to clean this up and bring it down close to 0?
I am relatively new to the whole IQAN infrastructure and I am wondering why is there such a high leakage current? Is there any benefit to it?
Thanks in advance

Master controller performance Comparison
Is there a chart comparing controller performances other than just I/O counts such as Memory size/ processor speed.
Specifically I am looking to decide what is the next platform we are going to use. I am looking for a Non display master with large number of Can interface. So MC43 comes to mind but in thread I read it does not seem to be as powerful as the MD4 display series.
