XC10 POWER CONTROL input consumption

Adolfo 5 years ago in Expansion modules / XC10 updated by Gustav Widén (System support) 5 years ago 3

Can I know the XC10 POWER CONTROL input consumption or input resistance?

I cannot find this data in the iqan-xc10_uk_instructionbook 2016...

Thanks in advance and best regards.

MC41 reliability data?

Kevin 5 years ago in Master modules / MC4x updated by Gustav Widén (System support) 5 years ago 5

Is there any reliability data for these modules (non failsafe versions)? We are using modules for control system functions and to see if they comply with basic performance levels (b). Is there any documents that are available showing MTTF of these modules that can assist with calculations?

I see the manual includes this:

IQAN-MC4x performance only runs a sub-set of the MC4xFS functions for internal diagnostics. Because of reduced diagnostics, DC and thus SFF and PFHd is not available for these modules.

But we were able to get reliability data for XC2X range at one stage even though this was not a safety controller, is this likely to be possible with the MC4X?

xc43 referance voltage

Ed Schippers 5 years ago in Expansion modules / XC4x updated by Cristian Ramirez 2 years ago 5

On the XC4x serie there are multiple Vref+ and Vref- and on both C1 and C2

Are these interaly connected in the module?

Or are they seperate from eachother and serve only dedicated Vin's?

Best Regards Ed

PWM OUT HS to control proportional valve "D1FBE01HC0NJJ3"

Hassan 5 years ago in Expansion modules / XC4x updated by Gustav Widén (System support) 5 years ago 2

I'm using the expansion module XC43 to control valves, usually, I use Cout to control proportional valves but I run out of current output pins " I have 13 valves" I'm wondering if I can use PWM OUT HS to control D1FBE01HC0NJJ3 " Proportional directional valves in general " also L90LS, P70? Because it seems for me that PWM is only to control pulsar valves that have some frequency working value.

External Mounted Modules

BLC 5 years ago in Expansion modules updated by Gustav Widén (System support) 3 years ago 1

I'm being asked to mount modules external to the main enclosure, XC41's to be exact. So there will be an enclosure to mount the MD4 to but everything else will be mounting on the rock crushing machine. The power and ground for the modules will come from within the main panel and be fuse protected. The issue I'm having is trying to solve the ground and power that is supplied to the DIN's and DOUT's. Is there a way to cleanly create a ground line and power line to run along the machine and tie into for each necessary I/O? I was thinking of a isolated buss bar, or perhaps a two to one butt splice. Any ideas will help.

G11 mot MC41

LRW 5 years ago in Master modules / MC4x 0

Tjena.

Är det möjligt att koppla en G11 med Iqansynk mot en MC41, har en MC41 som "standalone" i en maskin och vill redigera vissa parametrar för att se resultatet "live".
Om ja: vart ska den in? (stift)

Om nej: synd...

High side digital (signalling) outputs?

Henry Tonoyan 5 years ago in Master modules / MC4x updated by Nick Pridham 5 years ago 3

Hi,

I'm relatively new to the IQAN system. I'm currently using the MC43. Is it possible to have high side digital signalling outputs? I'm interested in controlling some industrial devices that accept 24V digital inputs. From what I understand, most of the digital outputs have some sort of fault detection on loads lower than a few hundred milliamps. The only way around it I found is to use PWM outputs, which are limited and also seem like a bit of a hack.

Would be great to know if this is possible.

Thanks!

Expansion Module CANBus

Greg R 5 years ago in Expansion modules / XC4x 0

Our usual setup is an MD4 with an XC4X expansion module. But we end up using an MC4X because we need the CANBus available on the master module. It would be nice if the expansion module provided access to additional CANBus the same way it provides access to its IO.
