G11 on two non multi-master MD4s
Is it possible to have one G11 module to handle two MD4s on non-multimaster applications if G11 is mapped on both diagnostic buses?

ICL437-G//-//-3_neutral position
Hello,
Those ICL437-G//-//-3 are discontinue and hard to found as spare parts even used one.
got an issue on one where the neutral zone do not work (program safety block the engine start due to joystick not in neutral)
could the IR sensor HOA1884-012 (transmissive sensor) be the fault on those type of joystick as it seems they are use to trigger the neutral X and Y postion?
any documentaion available?

have you heard about similar issue

DOUT error code flash on XC23 when output is disabled in IQANdesign
We have an application which has an optional function group containing a DOUT on an XC23 module. This function group is enabled or disabled using a digital parameter. With the function group disabled we get the output grey and 'disabled' state when measuring with IQAN Design, which is correct:
We also have no errors on screen stating open load (we have nothing connected to output because this machine has not got the optional extra fitted). XC23 module has error code flash of DOUT, I suspect open load. Its not logging any errors or open loads in any logs within master module, viewing state of the module using IQAN Run I also get 'OK' and no errors on status screen just the LED status is showing incorrect state directly on the module:

If I delete the output from IQAN Design the error flash on the module disappears and it goes a steady amber flash, no errors.
Has this been fixed in a newer version? IQAN Design 5.06, MD4-5 M19 and XC23.

Sluggish touch response MD4-5
MD4-5 M19 version, having issues with the touch panel. Noticed that the problem is more pronounced when using smaller buttons on screen. By using larger touch buttons the issue seems to be improved but not perfect. The screen responds to the press (it goes orange) but does not actually process the command to exit the screen. Seems very temperamental. Is there a built in delay to prevent button bounce that could be causing this phenomenon? We also tried without the screen protector and had similar issues. I tried without filming and was pressing the screen very firmly and around 6 times before it would register the button press (sometimes it went orange and did nothing, other times it did not even change colour).

Negative PWM
Hi All,
We have a motor that requires a PWM negative signal. Using an MC42, anyone ever done this? if so, how?

Controller for motor, about 2000hz needed
i need help with choosing a controller to operate at abut 2000 hz for motor control. i currently have a MC43 and it doesnt seem to have the speed required for what i am doing. i get about 100hz
Could someone recommend something?

How to calculate speed of a BLDC motor with quadrature encoder
Hello all,
I am trying to do speed control of a BLDC motor with a Parker MD4. I have a quadrature encoder for the motor and would like to know how to calculate the speed for the motor using the IQAN Design software. I can calculate the position of the motor from the sensor, but to estimate the speed in rpm, I need to perform differentiation of the position data. I wanted to know if there is a channel/library/block that will give speed outputs or will do differentiation? Or should I write my own Qcode for differentiation?.

Can't connect to MC42FS
I am having problems connecting to a MC42FS.The PLC worked fine last friday but when trying to upload some weekend changes this morning the PLC suddenly stops working. On the first programing attempt after power-on the programing process stops at "stopping applications" followed by a "no handshake replay". Trying to program the PLC after will only result in a "no handshake replay". If connecting to the PLC after cycling the power with IQAN run i get the following error. "There is no valid application in the target module. Error code R4:2 1:1:1 (Int.diag error(Backending?)) MS42FS[NI address tag] (FW version 6.04.4) i have tried multiple times with and without the ID-tag, but nothing changes. Any ideas on how to get it working again?

'Wrong ID Tag' for single module MD3 system
Hello,
Does an MD3 require an ID Tag if it's being used in a single module network? The only other module on the CAN network is a non-IQAN J1939 module (engine ecu.) This is how we communicate with the engine. The machine did not have an ID tag when it was built back in 2010 and we recently replaced the MD3 because the screen was too dark to read. We had some problems opening the original ida file because it was an old beta version. So we had to pull a clone file from the existing MD3 and saved it as an ida3 before sending it to a new replacement MD3. After installing the new MD3 the 'Wrong IdTag!' error appears. I've searched this forum for answers but can't seem to find this particular case. Is there a new address requirement for MD3's that was not the case back in 2010? Did saving the file from ida to ida3 cause this problem?
