Ambient air temperature sender
I thought this would be easy to find but having no luck. I have a request to read the outside ambient temperature on the MD4-7 and not having any luck finding anything to do this with. If all else fails the standard ones I have used for hydraulic fluid might work in a pinch but unsure how accurate that would be. If this is something anyone has any ideas on I would appreciate any feedback.

XC43 Current Outputs Bounds for short and open load
Hello, I am working with an XC43 current output that controls a bidirectional valve and want to make sure I use the right resistor to avoid problems with getting short and open load errors. I have found the minimum resistance for my case is 20ohms based on Appendix A in Parker's Family instruction book, but I am not sure how to find the maximum. Any help would be appreciated.

firmware g12
i am starting to use the g12's for the first time. they freeze in the middle of uploads.
do you have ability for updates and how do you do it.
we probably bought about 20 of these

system of mc43 to md4 wirelessly
i want to make a remote md4 to work with my system to access data. is there an easy way to have a remote that will connect tot an mc43 wirelessly. that way the user can get custom screens

When I power up my slab iqan md-4-7 module then nothing have been seen on display even parker logo not showing during power up. Only display is changed from black to light black and not showing anything. Please suggest me how I will rect

MC42 supply
Hi
I have a project MC42 for embedded Simulink models which is only possible in MC4x. But I got a information that Parker do not produce MC42 module anymore. Is that true ? If yes, Have any solution for simulink models in IQAN ?

DOUT voltage when not enabled
Hello,
I am having some trouble with the Parker MC41. I have a display button on another MD4 that enables / disabled the output on Pin 45 (DOUT-HS). I am seeing a proper system voltage of 12.26V when the value is true, however when I set it to false Pin 45 goes to 11.68V. Is this normal behavior? Should I have some sort of diode in there to get the desired on/off I am expecting?
Thank you.

VIN combined with CIN
The MC43FS manual states that:
Note that for the MC4xFS, a voltage input combined with a current loop input is not
sufficiently diverse if the two signals are following each, the higher gain error has to be
considered.
Does this mean a single sensor measuring voltage (single output from the sensor) into a VIN and also current from the ground of the single sensor into a CIN? Is this what is defined as combined? ie. singe sensor, 2 inputs.
We are planning on using a single voltage output sensor providing a single VIN, and a separate sensor with 4-20mA signal output into a dedicated single CIN. Notes in the manual suggests we cannot do this because they are not crossed, even though they are independent sensors, different technologies and have separate wiring. What's the restriction and why, is it because it uses the same AD converters in the module? The pins are not shared (cannot be configured as voltage inputs or current inputs) so unsure of the reasons behind this.
Just looking for clarification really as the statement seems to suggest we may be able to if....'the higher gain error has to be
considered'? Both the sensors we are planning on using are not crossed (signal outputs increase as pressure rises, one voltage the other current).
Thanks!

MD4-10 Blue Screen while Ethernet Disconnect
Hello,
We are using a MD4-10 (IQAN-6) as main controller for our vehicle. Recently, a bluescreen appeared while we were disconnected from the vehicle via the controller's ethernet port connexion; we were measuring. When it disconnected, I also felt a small static shot from my laptop (I don't know if this is related to the error but it is something I have noticed when it happened). The error code is os_error(0x1000002) with run fault pid 90131. I have looked on IQANForum and I have seen this error before but not from the same source.
We are fixing the wire ethernet connector on the vehicle but is this something that has a precedent ?
Have you seen this type of error before?
Thanks for the support.
Best,

MD4-7 can't send project
I am using a MD4-7 on my test bench for one month approximately. It seems to be corrupted. I can no longer send projects via ethernet or PCAN from IQANdesign 5 or 6. I have also tried a coworkers laptop and failed. When I send a project, the display momentarily blue-screens then restarts the existing application. IQANdesign eventually reports "No Reply."
The only way I have been able to send a new application is in safe-mode by removing the ID tag resistor.
Are there any other recovery steps I can attempt before sending this display back to Parker?
